A Different View 121715

We share photos of our homes, nature, crafts, family, travel and more in the hope of bringing inspiration, incite, or a little smile to the faces of those who view the post.
And its a boost to our morale to receive comments and put a little smile on our own faces.

I'm sure we each make the attempt to choose our 'best' photos.

But . . .

Today I went a different route and decided to share what I'm calling my OCD Therapy for the day. All the while repeating to myself " this mess is o.k., this mess is o.k."

One more variety of cookie and a nut bread to go.
Better keep at it.

Have a Blessed and Merry Christmas

  2. Yes, unfortunately the kitchen can get messy during baking but it is still an interesting place to photograph. For instance, I see I store my flour, sugar etc. in the same type of containers and wish my Kitchen Aid mixer was like yours - mine has a lever to raise and lower the bowl and it's hard to get in there.
    Merry Christmas Gayle

  6. I kind of like the "mess" I make when baking - and then I like it when it is cleaned up too. Your cookies look delicious and I love the table at the window - with the tripod.

  9. I love it, I think I will take one at my worst on Christmas Eve to look back on. Your biscuits look delicious and I think baking is the best part of the season, the mess is worth it, surely. Merry Christmas to you and yours xx

  10. Strange--I don't remember seeing this and thought sure I had been here since Thursday....my daughter and I did baking yesterday. I did not take pictures. Didn't have time. We baked 4 different kinds, and were wiped out by the time we were done. She has a cold and had hardly slept for 3 days!
