Neatly Embellished

Glad I took this photo a few weeks ago
before it was hidden by the cornfield.

Last Minute

The hummingbirds seemed to have arrived atMuldoon. And they are flying in pairs. Wonder what that means ; )

Just captured this one a few minutes ago dining
on the Indian Paint Brush flowers.

Taken through the glass on the front door
Didn't want to scare it away

Don't you love his teenie little feet?

Something After All

Had a busy work week; not much camera time; and didn't think I had anything for today.
Then I remembered this dragon fly.
So here it is from several angles and resting spots.

See the gold fish through its wing.
(the garden pond was under maintenance)

Wednesday Links 072915

Watched it ripen from my swing.

Just can't beat a fresh home ripened Tomato

As I drove to work and saw these hay bales I was reminded of
the snow donut phenomena which was new to our area last winter.

It took the tiger lilies to bring in the hummingbirds this year

This one reminds me of the stance of Mighty Mouse
from the old Saturday morning cartoon.

The Bullfrogs Chose To Stay

Last Saturday the RG partially drained the garden pond
for some needed maintenance.
In the process,
the location of the two resident bullfrogs came into question.
I was glad to text him Sunday morning,
while he was fishing a Bass Tournament for charity
'catch and release',
that both frogs were present and accounted for.

The smaller of the two

Seems to be enjoying its Sunday Brunch

And the larger of the two
Billie/Bertha? stared me down.
