So for Judith's Mosaic Monday, here we go . . .

On our Saturday drive this was our
first sight seeing destination of the day.
The lake is surrounded by private homes.

  2. I missread Lake Laatokka and thought wtf :) Laatokka is a huge lake in the western part of Russia near the Finnish boarder. Before the II World War part of it belonged to Finland.

    Your Latonka with its surroundings seems very inviting.

  4. When I was a child (Back in the middle of the last century) I always wanted to live in a tepee. And I' love living on the water... So this looks like my kind of place! Shall I buy in ;))?
