    1. Not something I would do everyday, but couldn't make it happen in the photo editing programs I use. And years of desktop publishing a church newsletter before photo editing was available.

      I used microsoft WORD. Inserted the picture. Added a square shape over one quarter. Removed the fill color from the square and colored the border. Copied and pasted the square three more times. Placed them over the remaining portions of the picture. Grouped the squares.
      Then I used microsoft 'snippet' tool to select the picture from corner to corner and saved as a .jpg.

      Probably could have accomplished it in my PhotoShopPro program but for me WORD is my go to just because I can navigate quickly.

  4. Pretty tree picture, Gayle. It does fine for all three. I have a pecan tree on my post, not changed colors one bit yet.
