Uh Oh

The view of our neighbor's roof
was pretty run of the mill.

Until last week when this bird
stopped for a break in flight

and we wondered where it was nesting.

And then yesterday . . . Uh Oh.

Five From Muldoon

#1 - The Great Escape
A silly chick-a-dee squeezed into the wren house
and then couldn't make an exit.
The RG to the rescue. I hoped to catch a photo on it's way out
but it was in a bit of hurry.

#2 - A great example of nature blending in.

#3 - A great year for Tulips.

#4 - A Great tug of war.
It was back and forth for a while but guess who won?

#5 - A great neighbor
This is Sallie coming for a visit.
She got bumped by a car last year and is now a little crippled up.
But she still gets out and about and stops by for a petting session.

Thankful for . . .

a quiet morning watching creation

What was that?

I heard it too
Got it!!

Robins use auditory and visual cues to help find worms. Hopping around the yard, peering into the grass or “head-cocking” to locate a nice juicy worm. In no time, they find their prey and fly off with a mouthful.

It's A Dead Give Away

You arrive on the scene

and the sentry is in place

And then attempts to lead you away

And becomes quite vocal

Time for a little detective work.
Yep, construction is under way.
Little Red-Winged Blackbirds in the near future.
