In the Merry, Merry Month of . . .

January

Whichever way you look at it

There's not a lot to 'crow' about.

But on a clear day like this
I can't really complain.

Even a 'turkey' can stay warm
when she's prepared.

An thankful for online friends
Lucy says: 'Did you say Sandra asked about me? Aw, shucks', how sweet of her.

Cold on the outside and warm on the inside.

And this is how Mother Nature
rounded out the week atMuldoon
with a little geometric beauty.

  1. ...until the last one, your January didn't look like a 'normal' January. Who knows what normal is these days. Thanks for stopping by.

  6. Hi...love your play on words! I was just visiting with Sandra & read your comment..."As a serious genealogist, I currently I have 3 or 4 seasons of Finding Your Roots in my watchlist of videos which I watch on my T.V.

And on and on. They will have to do something stupid to lose me.

(This is not an AD)"....that last part about not an ad had me rolling

I too do genealogy (I published a 300+ page book on mine & hubby's histories)

  8. What neat pictures. Love your doggy...so sweet, and your wood stove looks warm and cozy. We have an electric stove that looks like a wood stove, which is perfect here in FLorida. We can just turn on the light portion and not have the heat unless we need it, and still have the ambiance of the "fire". Hope you stay warm and cozy. I hear there is snow on the way up north...here in Florida it has been pretty chilly in the mornings, but today warmed up to 74 and is sunny and beautiful. Come on down!
