Along a Western PA Highway

Our skies were beautiful today
It will be nice when the southern coastal states
can say the same.

Ventilation for stored hay, I suspect.

Question of the Day . .

Is the box on the silo for Bats or Owls?

We've driven past this barn many times

but just noticed the box this weekend.

Bats or Owls??

How Much Per Foot?

I hope someone is enjoying
the missing barn siding

It's been 'open air' for quite some time.

Edgy . .

at the forefront of a trend.

Bold design; bold location right on the edge of the road.
It's been so long since I captured a barn
I almost forgot to post it.

Winding Road

This may have been the first time
I traveled this road in
the 'rolling hills of Pennsylvania'

When I viewed this photo
I had this thought: I need to slow down.
(in thought, word and deed)

In days past I would have stopped the car and
captured this barn without bi-secting it.
(although it is fairly well balanced
as far as the tree is concerned)

resolution: This week I will stop and smell the roses.

Nature Dancing

Gracefully twirling and swirling

The blue skies, white snow and red barn accents
were a delight to behold.
anticipating sightings of many barns to come in 2017.

South Paw

Taken with an iPhone on the move - not so sharp.

After being forced to retire my Blackberry cell phone I am getting familiar with an iPhone. So far a love/hate relationship.

One major thing I've learned, which is not the phone's fault, is that left-handed people (South Paws) can't click with the left thumb on landscape. All photos will download upside down. sigh.
