A Walk Around . . .

our rural plan of homes.

As you circle through the former potato farm,

there are 30 homes in the neighborhood.

Happily they are spaced so that

some rural spots remain.

We have lived here 40+ years

and never saw the old wheel.

Someone must have uncovered it

and leaned it against the tree recently.

The RG rescued the plow in the area

of the spring many years ago

and brought it to our yard.

Our home was built on a former potato farm.

This spring is located over the hill

near the location of the original farm house.

Our boys spent any hours playing in that area;

but could always hear the RG's distinct whistle

when it was time to come home.
