To the New . . .

Roaring Twenties

May the 'roaring' be replaced
by 'forgiveness and peace'

Wishing you a year of
immeasurable blessings and joy!

A Ray of Sunshine . . .

on a dreary December day atMuldoon

yet thankful for moderate temp'.
a ray of sunshine
a cloudy December day
heart lightened anew

What was your 'ray of sunshine' today?

A Shrub Not a Flower . . .

a bract not a flower petal.

Despite the details
Beautiful to behold
 surrounding a tiny yellow bloom.

Poinsettia: a small Mexican shrub with large showy scarlet bracts surrounding the small yellow flowers, popular as a houseplant at Christmas.

Thankful for So Many Things . . .

One of them is physical ability.

At my age I have some aches and pains,
but I am still able to move about quite freely.

Case in point; I yet again re-arranged my sewing room.
Bear in mind that I arrange and re-arrange my home constantly. Its either a neurotic habit or I just simply enjoy the creativeness. (I choose creative ;)
Perhaps that is the exercise
that keeps me mobile? (heavy furniture)

One thing that is always important is
to have a good view from the window
for birdwatching.

And look who arrived as I was typing.

A Rare Siting . . .

From time to time we see Flickers
pecking around the yard
but haven't seen one perched in a tree

The left over Dogwood berries
must be an attraction.
