I love the seating area at the back; facing the farm.

This thing is Bigger than Life and only appears after

cresting a hill on the road.

Relate it to the ice dispenser on the left; similar to the ones 

we all see outside convenience stores.

 

Won't our eight year old grandson love this

when they visit next month?

Libellula incesta, the slaty skimmer, is a dragonfly of the skimmer family, native to eastern United States and southern Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick. Adults are 5.28 cm (2.08 in) long. Mature males are dark blue with black heads. Females and juveniles have brown abdomens with a darker stripe down their backs. Adults fly from June to August.

Blue Monday 052515

A couple samples of Nature's Blue on a Sunday morning drive to the local state park.

Been watching for a Red Winged Blackbird

to let Theresa at Run A Round Ranch know they made it north.

Just didn't expect to find it on a dock.

So pretty against the blue water.

 

This is a box intended by the state for bluebirds

But it appears an irridescent blue Tree Swallow took up residence.

 

It reminds me of something alien in a blue space suit.
