Irruption . . .

 times two.

The second Pine Siskin irruption of the season.

and its been a few weeks since we had a Red-bellied Woodpecker visit the feeders

And what a thrill this was.
I only wish I had seen it when filming

The tiny black dot in the sky is a bald eagle. Three flying objects; eagle, jet, and bird.

I Thought Birds Had Feathers . . .

You may remember a while back
a raccoon knocked the bird feeder down
and dragged it away.
I didn't put it back up but
was missing the birds so .  .  .
I relocated it away from the tree

I once heard squirrels wouldn't
climb a thin slippery pole.

So much for that theory

It just kept coming back for more
maybe because it rained all day
and it was really hungry

Western P A  was in an
official drought
so the rain is very welcome.
