It Would Seem . . .

that bird-watching has taken over my life. I could think of worse things.

The Blue Jays are coming down
out of the oak trees
The acorn supply must be waning

Yes, I'm in here
with the camera

A little of the action

Looking Back . . .

I can still see her hands in motion.

We can't begin to know
the number of quilts
my Mom stitched over the years
for family and friends

Sewing . . .

Aids

My quilting Mom
would have loved these.
I find them quite versatile
in many ways.

Temps . . .

are rising . . .

and Hank Heron is drinking up a little shade
while he can.
This would normally be 'Fair Week' in our county
but cancelled for the first time since the civil war.

Sometimes . . .

deterrents are necessary.

This is an ant moat.
It's purpose is to stop ants from
reaching hummingbird feeders
or others that contain 'sweets'.
moat: typically filled with water
and intended as a defense against attack.

I found the instruction on YouTube
and made it from the lid of a detergent bottle

On Hold . . .

for the duration.

With the initiation of virtual Bible study
this tote has been idle.
Going 'virtual' has had its positive side,
but getting back to fellowship with others
is my favored route.

comprehending grace
a mystery of His love

The Change of Season Continues . . .

despite the chaos.

One hopeful periwinkle
popping through the dead
and decaying matter of the winter.
Everyone take care. One day at a time.
'Hope springs eternal".

If You Need It . . .

They probably have it.
Sharing God's creation
and what man does with it.

Snapped these on a

Moon . . .

In the Afternoon

atMuldoon

What is the phase of the moon today?
The Moon today is in a Waning Gibbous Phase. This is the first phase after the Full Moon occurs. It lasts roughly 7 days with the Moon's illumination growing smaller each day until the Moon becomes a Last Quarter Moon with a illumination of 50%.
