Tweaking . . .

technique

This week I am thankful
to have discovered photography
and sharing what we capture with each other.

Today I read an article
on Macro and Simple photography.
Next thing I knew
it was one thing on top of another.

Cotton Batting . . .

in the sky.
I've been sewing lately
and the sky reminded me of
the cotton batting I was using.

The Birds . . .

By-passed these this year.

This is not a Christmas deco.
Just the background I chose
for these holly berry left-overs

Down on . .

Their Level

A You Tube photography tutorial
suggested getting down
to the level of the flowers for spring photos.
Great advice.

Remember This . . .

From Last Week?
This photo will need to be archived.
Because perching there won't be happening again.

The Critters Never . . .

let me down.

My camera has been a bit dormant since I've returned to an old hobby. But nature never lets us down. In this case I'm referring to the view from the room I have set-up for some serious sewing.

One morning this past week I glanced out and there it was - sitting pretty

HERE

and then scampered up THERE

It didn't take long to know a bird feeder was a must outside that window too.
I haven't been disappointed.
Mr. Cardinal has been joined by his Mrs.
along with Chickadees and Sparrows.

And of course the ubiquitous Robins

One of which is trying out for the Olympics
on the balance beam.
It be-bopped right across the pond.

Aaaah . . .

Thankful for New Beginnings . . .

uplifting to the spirit.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
