Some of Us . . .

Still have septic tanks


While sparing the internal engineering details; 
today I am thankful for
the beauty that appeared externally.


As the snow began to melt
this formation appeared 
on the lid which is smooth.

Now the birds do peck at fallen seeds
but I don't think even they are
clever enough to create this design.
