Thankful for the Lessons in Harmony . . .

that nature teaches us. . .

and the joy of sharing that harmony

with others through photography.

I was astonished by the Bee in this photo

I hold the camera, the Lord is the director.

Not Quite Sure . . .

but this might be a bird's idea

of a storage unit.

It's definitely not a nest

(flower added by the photographer ;)

The RG removed the front in the spring

to deter House Sparrows

and minimize the war with wrens.

DETERRING HOUSE SPARROWS AND EUROPEAN STARLINGS

As a nest box monitor, your goal is to provide a safe environment for local cavity-nesting species to breed. We strongly encourage that you do not allow House Sparrows or European Starlings to breed in your nest boxes. We recommend that you take measures to prevent them from breeding in your boxes. Unfortunately, a completely sparrow-proof nest box does not exist.  --- nestwatch.org
