Peek a Boo . . .

I See You (I know, I know - trite 😊 )

I've been appreciating the glacier pebbles and chunks of sandstone the RG has relocated over the years to our yard. Both are quite abundant in our area; and they create lots of texture and diversity to our planters as they mix with the neighboring plants and shrubs.

Troops and Walls . . .

Hallelujah

Psalm 18:29
29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Having a Camera . . .

even opens up the world of staying at home.

Thankful today for cameras.
Participating in an Instagram photo challenge
this month has been great fun.

Yesterday's subject was bubbles
Love how they clung to the bottle
and appeared as eye glasses

I have seen great photos of bubbles
                                            but had never tried it

So many outcomes

Although A Distance Apart . . .

One in Spirit

I've been feeling low this week
and as I was studying for one of our
newly formed virtual Bible groups
in the New Testament book of Philippians
I had a sense of what Paul was feeling
while in prison and away from other believers.

Yet Paul rejoiced
Let's do the same

At Least the Backyard Birds . . .

are not being 'distant'.

This Robin is still
bob, bob, bobbing along
atMuldoon
in spite of the unexpected snowfall.

I Forgot to Tell You .. .

But that’s o.k. I like the fact that when I walked around the corner there they were. Just seems apropos for Good Friday

Shocked to wake up to this!

Was glad to see this sky

Blue on Blue

Didn’t decorate for Easter this year
But after I made this fabric box yesterday
And the daffodils are blooming so beautifully,
I decided one little spot would be nice
for the week.

Workers At Risk

Today I am thankful for
grocery workers
as they continue to serve
providing fresh fruit
and the fruit of the spirit;
as we hold them in prayer
of whom our daughter is one.

Also thankful for the shields that are
being put in place at their registers.

The Change of Season Continues . . .

despite the chaos.

One hopeful periwinkle
popping through the dead
and decaying matter of the winter.
Everyone take care. One day at a time.

Today I am thankful for . . .

discovery.

We call them 'phones' but
it seems everyday I discover
something more this little COMPUTER can do.

Of course it will come as no surprise
that it is the wonder of the camera
that is occupying my time.

Instagram was a main factor in my decision
to upgrade to iP11.
I have an app on both my
laptop and phone
to create IG posts from my
Canon camera photos and videos
for transferring to IG
since posting has to be with a phone.

Now I have 'discovered' YouTube tutorials
for using the iP11 camera,
which takes quality photos,
to post directly from my iP11

Here is one from yesterday

But . . .
the big discovery is
that my bluetooth keyboard
works with my iP11
(never thought to try it before)

The Morning Skies . . .

have been beautiful of late.

And the rains did come
from these mackerel clouds

Mackerel sky. ... The old rhymes "Mackerel sky, not twenty-four hours dry"
A mackerel sky is a common term for a sky with rows of cirrocumulus or altocumulus clouds displaying an undulating, rippling pattern similar in appearance to fish scales; this is caused by high altitude atmospheric waves. Wikipedia

Beautiful Bird . . .

not so beautiful name . . .

Title for these photos:
"God's Palette
Grackles in Silhouette "

Image result for grackleThe avian genus Quiscalus contains six of the ten species of grackle, gregarious passerine birds in the icterid family. They are native to North and South America. The genus was named and described by the French ornithologist Louis Jean Pierre Vieillot in 1816. Wikipedia
