      The State Park keeps after the shoreline pretty well Walnut Creek is a popular spot. We saw that they recently did some major work at the North Pierhead.

      I guess the erosion is due to the strength of the waves. Being one of the Great Lakes, Erie was like the ocean when we were kids with its high waves (or so we thought) :)
