'tis the Season

The County Fair and the 4th of July
go hand in hand

  1. Yes they do, we've had a lot of small town fairs in the last week but I'm hoping to go to our local county fair with a photo group and learn something about night shooting. I really like the feel of this photo, the sight of a ferris wheel makes me feel like a kid.

  2. Our fair out here in Stanwood is the second weekend in August. We are showing some photography.
You wondered what the round thing on the fence was in my barn shot. I believe that is part of an old irrigation pipeline. It the wheel rolls the pipe across the field when irrigating but this doesn't look like it has been in use for quite awhile.

  3. Weekly there will be fairs around here.

  4. Hello, neat shot of the county fair. We have a lot of carnivals around this time. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!

  5. County fairs are memories from my youth. Fun times for all. Happy Blue Monday!

  6. Great views of the fair - new for me to have it on the fourth - in Southern Calif. where I lived before, they were always there, right before the schools started back up! Many thanks for sharing these with SEASONS! Hope you had a great time there! See yo back very soon and have a great week!

  7. Been a long time since I went to a fair. They make a great day out venture.

  8. Looks busy. It is show time here, which is pretty much the same thing.

  9. First, thank you for not giving up on me with the linky problems. I have figured out the problem was ‘me.’ With some great advice from a person who knows about linky I think I’ve got this now

A country Fair is always a fun place to be. Our small town does a nice job with great fireworks. Nice views of all the fun at the fair.
    Happy Blue Monday.
