Greylags and Canadas do sometimes mix with some weird results. Not this time.
I read that when identifying the lone goose. The RG thought is may have joined the flock and flew in from a farm.
Geese have never been my friends.
My grandmother voweled they were better watchdogs than dogs.
Hello!:) They are splendid guards, they make just as much noise as a dog, or even more when strangers approach. We always have two, and also enjoy their eggs. The one in your photo, has been snubbed alright, but I hope it finds one of it's own kind to be friends with.:))
