Mosaic Barns 070615

Four more barns
snapped while out looking for fences last week

The vertical construction of the silo caught my eye on this one.
I just noticed the lettering on the barn.
At one time it said 'Ruby Twin Lakes' with a hex sign at each end
But I don't think that is what I am seeing here.

Without some attention to this barn,
the silo will be joining my collection of solo siloes.

Wonder how many seasons it took
for the ivy to cover this one.

  2. Each barn has something that appeals to me so much! Cannot pick a favorite.

You should link these to The Barn Collective--I am wanting so bad for it to take off and have several participants. All you have to do is look at either of my main blogs to know that I love barns!

  3. Your photos documenting these old barns may be valuable one day Gayle. I wonder about the vertical silo too, odd isn't it?
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

  4. I just figured it out. The words were 'Twin Lake Farm' and there was one hex sign at the beginning. (the mind you know).
At one time there were two ponds in field in front of the barn.

  5. Hi Gayle, what a nice white collection of barns! The two red silos have very interesting tops. Barns with signs are a great find. I'm working on a new collection of "solo silos." Thanks for linking up this week and I hope that you return again. Tom
