Dead Trees Standing

I've used the word tenacity before in relation to nature and again the tenacity of these trees year after year never ceases to amaze me.

These are three dead trees I pass often each week.
The RG has been commenting on this one for several years
and its ability to stay standing

The greenery on and around this one
is from neighboring trees.

Each one retains its unique personality.

  2. I love to see the dead trees standing for a long time. They become homes for the woodpeckers and the owls. Enjoy your new week ahead!

  3. It delights me to see that old and barren trees are left standing. Some places they are far too eager to get rid of them.
    Have a nice day.
