Backyard Birds Outdoors 010616

A sunny early morning in January atMuldoon

Cold on the outside; Warm on the inside

The feeding area has donned it winter coat.

And the winter morning sunshine is casting its beauty.

We provide and they come.

High

and Low

and so darn cute!

and all puffed up

So much fun taking the photos but
hi ho, hi ho it was off to work I go.

A frosty view from inside my vehicle.

  3. I'm jealous, you have blue jays that actually come to your yard... I know we have them ...one did come once. ... They are out there..just not in my yard. Darn it.

  5. Our woodstove chimney pipe cap just rusted out and fell apart. We have a new one to install. Without it, when the wind blows hard the smoke comes right down the pipe and into our cabin home. The old and new one are designed as a rotating cap with a tail fin. The cap covers the front of the pipe to keep the wind out, and the fin keeps it turning in the right direction. - Margy
