When Least Expected

Been trying to catch a hawk in the wild for months.
Looked out the kitchen window and there it was
enjoying a breakfast entree.

  1. Hello Gayle, awesome capture of the juvenile Cooper's Hawk! I have one hanging around my yard, he/she flies away when it sees me though. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

    1. I only had time for one shot. Lucy knew I was up to something and was barking inside the house. The hawk became very attentive and didn't stick around.

  4. I've been trying for a hawk pic for a long time. I see them, but never in a camera friendly fashion.

    Congrats!
